Sebastian "Basi" Roeder quickly had to jump off his current obligations as the FOH sound engineer on the european tour of guitar legend MICHAEL SCHENKER in order to go on a short trip with KREATOR to Ireland and the UK last weekend. On 3 extremely successful shows in Dublin, Manchester and London he was in duty as the tour manager and FOH sound engineer for KREATOR before traveling right back on the MICHAEL SCHENKER tour.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder just returned from a good 3 weeks russian tour with KREATOR, taking care of the band´s needs as their tourmanager and FOH-sound engineer. Which turned out to be a quite adventurous job from time to time in this eastern part of the world...
LZ Records and Sony Music Distribution today released the latest work of Ingolstadt-based hard rock band BONFIRE.
"Schanzerherz" is the official fan album of the FC Ingolstadt 04 soccer team and contains several BONFIRE songs besides titles from various other artists.
The 3 opening titles - all new BONFIRE songs - were recently mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Basi" Roeder at the Backyard Studios.
For Basi it´s the 5th time in a row that he was hired to mix a BONFIRE release.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder is right on his way to sunny Miami / Florida to board the famous "70 000 tons of metal" cruise ship. He will work on this "swimming" heavy metal festival with 40 bands as the tourmanager and FOH-engineer for the german thrash metal legend KREATOR. 4 days on a cruise ship from Miami to some caribbean islands and back - working conditions could be worse... :-)

For Sebastian "Basi" Roeder the year-end as well as the beginning of the new year were busy like all of the year before.

In between those gigs the mix and mastering of south germany-based offspring rockers NOFFENCE took place in the studio, followed by the mixdown of 3 BONFIRE songs and the compilation and mastering of a complete longplay fan CD for the FC 04 Ingolstadt soccer team.
The CD will be released in early february on LZ Records / Sony Music
Last weekend Basi had the pleasure to mix FOH sound for BONFIRE at the KNOCK OUT festival in Karlsruhe with an audience of more than 5000 people.
Another month - another 25 shows in another 11 different countries - that was the "Ascending to Infinity" european tour of Luca Turilli´s RHAPSODY.
Being tourmanager as well as mixing front of house for RHAPSODY and their main support act FREEDOM CALL, Sebastian "Basi" Roeder was more than busy for about 5 weeks in a row again.
This time also on tour with us - Sassy Bernert, who appeared as a special guest and duet partner of lead singer Alessandro Conti on a couple of songs.

BIONIC ANGEL recently entered the BACKYARD STUDIOS and recorded drums for their upcoming new and second album together with engineer Sebastian "Basi" Roeder. At the moment the guys are recording guitars and vocals at their home studios before this promising band out of the "Neue deutsche Härte" genre will return to the BACKYARD STUDIOS for the mixing of the album at the end of this year.
Last week Rhapsody´s mastermind Luca Turilli returned to the Backyard Studios for a couple of days to work together with Sebastian "Basi" Roeder on the last backing tracks for the upcoming european tour as well as on a remix for the brand new video of "Clash of the Titans" which will be released just in time for the tour.
From mid of october on the band will now start their rehearsals and on the 9th of november we will have our first show in Annecy / France.
Support acts for this tour will be Freedom Call, Orden Ogan and Vexillum.
