FOH Engineer and Tourmanager for KREATOR European Tour 2018

Its already june and so far no reports of any activities this year ... but it was just too busy !
Trying to catch up now and report in chronological order about everything:
Long time clients KREATOR kept Sebastian "Basi" Roeder busy in january as their tourmanager and FOH-soundengineer.
17 successful shows in 11 different countries were played on that run.

z-Minga III

Composer Dr.Rainer Fabich´s and Engineer Sebastian "Basi" Roeder´s collaboration goes ways back to the late 90´s.
9 of Rainer´s albums were mixed by Sebastian "Basi" Roeder, with the first release dating back to the year 1999.
In 2002 Rainer composed the first "z-Minga" album, inventing the term "bavarian worldmusic", followed by a second "z-Minga II" in 2009 and the brand-new "z-Minga III" just now.
As always - mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Basi" Roeder at his Backyard Studios.

Tourmanager for DIRKSCHNEIDER

Sebastian "Basi" Roeder worked as the tourmanager for the biggest part of last year´s DIRKSCHNEIDER tour.
39 Shows in 16 different countries over the course of 2 months were on schedule.

Happy new year !
High time to update this page and report about the activities of the past few months.
Once again KREATOR decided for a concert trip around the world, starting in Asia, going to New Zealand for the very first time, then Australia and finally Mexico.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder was, as usual, in charge as the tourmanager and FOH-soundengineer.

Engineer and Mixer for PRIMAL FEAR Live CD, DVD, BLUE RAY
20.11.

PRIMAL FEAR released a new live CD, DVD and BLUE RAY:
"Angels of Mercy - Live in Germany" was released by Frontiers Records and hit the german album charts at position 68.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder was (besides mixing the FOH sound ) responsible for the live recording of the show at Stuttgart´s LKA during the European Tour back in 2016, as well as for the following mixing and mastering process at his BACKYARD STUDIOS.

KROKUS Summer Tour
27.08.

A successfull performance at the SEASIDE festival in Spiez / Switzerland was the great finale for this years´ summer festival tour of the Swiss Hardrock Veterans KROKUS.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder mixed the FOH-sound for the band.

DIRNDLKNACKER Machs doch
25.08.

The new EP of Ulm/Germany based Schlager Band DIRNDLKNACKER is now available as hard copy via the band´s online shop and as download / streaming version on all digital platforms, such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder recorded, mixed and mastered the 3 new songs "Mach´s doch", "1000 Sterne" and the cover version "Mon Cherie" in his BACKYARD STUDIOS and also co-produced those tracks together with the group´s management B&S music and the band.
Shortly after their release two of those tracks reached the top of the Radio Monster Charts.

Neumentroll "Trolltanz"
24.08.

NEUMENTROLL´s debut album "Trolltanz", mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Basi" Roeder at his BACKYARD STUDIOS is now available on the band´s own label NEUMENTROLL RECORDS.

VARIX "Fear of God"
22.08.

VARIX, a german metal band not very active any more since the early 90´s just got rediscovered by the american indie label Divebomb Records.
The label rereleased the band´s old material from the years 1991-1995 and also asked for a new song.
Sebastian "Basi" Roeder recorded, mixed and mastered the first song in 22 years "Fear of God" in his BACKYARD STUDIOS.

The whole album was titled "Morbid Tribute to Distortion" and is available on Divebomb Records / Tribunal Records.
