Last weekend Basi had the great pleasure to fly off to russia to mix the FOH sound for Gotthard and Unisonic at their shows in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
South germany based alternative rock band NOFFENCE is recording their very first 4-track EP at the moment at the Backyard Studios with engineer Sebastian "Basi" Roeder. The picture shows from left to right:

The end of this year´s summer festival season for Sebastian Basi Roeder this year took place in the very south of italy.
He had the great pleasure to work as the FOH engineer for the italian metal band Rhapsody of Fire, who co-headlined the Agglutination Festival.
As this event entailed spending the weekend in the idyllically located mountain village Chiaromonte at 35 degrees celsius, with sunshine and under a bright blue sky - "working" could have really been worse... :-)
In preparation for his upcoming big european tour - starting this november - Rhapsody mastermind Luca Turilli yesterday invited the epic choir singers of his recently charted new album „Ascending to Infinity“ again to the Backyard Studios.
We recorded various epic choir parts which will be used on the backing tracks of all Rhapsody´s future concerts.

For he fourth time already Sebastian „Basi“ Roeder had the great pleasure to collaborate with the german hard rock legends Bonfire in his Backyard Studios.
The most recent creation of the band around the songwriter team Hans Ziller and Claus Lessmann is called „Treueband“ and represents the new hymn of Ingolstadt´s hockey team ERCI.
Mixed and mastered by Sebastian „Basi“ Roeder at Backyard Studios and recently released by LZ Records / Sony Music.
This weekend Basi had the great pleasure to work for some of the heroes of his youth, mixing the FOH sound for BONFIRE as well as UNSIONIC on their performances at the swedish Skogsröjet Festival on friday and saturday.
Already for the second time The Fuse came all the long way from London / UK to Kempten in order to work on their new songs together with producer Sebastian "Basi" Roeder. 2 new killer songs got recorded during the past two weeks here - in addition to the 3 songs we already produced together during the last winter. The mix will take place in september in the Backyard Studios and all 5 songs together will be released as an EP in november. Last sunday Basi had the pleasure to fly out to the island of Norderney working as the TM for Manfred Mann´s Earth Band on their open air show at the beach.
Last friday Basi had the great pleasure to fly out on a short trip with the extremely successful thrash metal legend KREATOR to hungary, working as the TM and FOH for the band headlining the Fezen festival near Budapest.
This weekend Basi was working as the FOH and TM for two band projects of the german Heavy Metal legend Mat Sinner.On friday with SINNER at the Headbangers Open Air near Hamburg and on saturday with PRIMAL FEAR at the small Roadgrill Festival in Rotterdam / Netherlands.
